This scene brings back memories of college and my walking dates along Comm. Ave in Boston with my cute boyfriend that is now my husband. We did a lot of starving that year but it was one of the best years of my life. The architecture of Back Bay is so historic and picturesque. I learned a lot just by observing what I walked past every day on my way to school at what was then the New England School of Art and Design on Newbury Street. I hustle down Commonwealth Ave (Northwards of Mass Ave) to almost Arlington Street there and back 5 days a week. This painting is currently on loan to the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park’s Corporate Art Lending Program, but will eventually be back up for sale. Email if interested.
