This mini painting is the third in the series of Spring-related, colorful, botanical still lifes I created in 2026 filled with a sense of joy and rebirth. I was inspired by friends’ and relatives’ plants they had on the windowsills of their homes. Each one became a mini window into their homes and lives, showing us one element of what they feel makes a house a home. I call it this scene the “ghost plant” because it is very translucent, yet still present. Painted in acrylic on canvas, this artwork features vibrant tones on translucent leaves and strong outlines.
