"Vanderbilt Brownstone"
acrylics on canvas 36" x 48"
$7000.00
This is a NYC scene at night, midtown. all the buildings are either blue, purple or dark pirple, almost black. Its a direct contrast to the lights on in all the windows and on the streets. Directly in the foreground the St Patrick's Cathedral is center stage. the vertical spires and long yellow lit panes of glass absolutely shine. the old world architectural details are in stark contrast to the other geometric based buildings.
"Manhattan Lights"
Acrylics on canvas, 24" x 48"
$5000.00
This is a city scene of a driveway with an orange striped two level house on the left, a vertically striped brown wooden fence in front of it, an old fashioned garage from the 1920's, a few blue- shaded two story houses layered in the background with some bare trees in between the layers of buildings. A pattern of vertical and horizontal striping can be seen on the structures, the fence, siding and porches. A warm orange light can be seen on one side of the buildings and the rest is in cool blue shadows. A few yellow windows of light shine out to let you know you aren't alone. You have community. It warms your heart when you see it and feel it.
"In the Driveway"
acrylics on canvas, 20" x 20"
$2000.00
Boston Brownstones shining in the sun with all their ornaments and decorations using oranges, and pinks for light and blue green and ultramarine blues as shadows. A spiral staircase and rooftop patios with fences.
“A Glow on Clarendon Street”,
acrylics on canvas, 24" x 48",
$7000.00
A residential but still city street scene sits with a road running through it after the rain. The hills behind the houses are tall and blue. the overlapping houses and trees are a mix of blue, yellow-green and orange. Many are chimneyed and have bare-branched trees alternating around the buildings. Finally, there is a thin line hanging two streetlights from an orange pole in the foreground. Somehow it feels home-y to me, with hope fluttering in the sun trying to shine on the rain-soaked buildings.
Lowell Deluge

This is a backyard scene where several older homes overlap each other at once. The backsides of three shaded two story homes are visible, with blu-purple shadows, red rooves and yellow windows glowing from an interior light. there are a few bare branched trees in the foreground, alsong with a small garage or outbuilding, connected to a patio/outdoor sitting area. Behind all the homes, the top of a churchwith a green striped roof can be seen with a red-roofed spire and a tall yellow section below it with rounded windows. Purple organic shapes lie behind the church suggesting trees in the distance in front of a light blue-green sky.
