“Life Force Kuna-Spiral Painting-Abstract Maori Fern (orange, Green, White)”” is a 5″ x 5″ mini botanical painting created in the Maori tradition from New Zealand. Kunas are derived from unfurled ferns signifying new life, growth and new beginnings. Starting as an orange Spiral, a pattern of white and green slashes, representing new leaves. surround the main plant with orange tendrils stretching away from it. The tendrils (in orange), continue off the canvas. It becomes an almost abstract design using orange, green and white slashes, but it is representative of an actual silver fern plant as it uncoils.
